Following a recent 'meeting' I had with a motor bike whilst stationary at a roundabout

Ideally it would cover front and rear and could be transferred to different cars easily.

No they shouldn't. Cameras don't paint the whole picture. This is no different to the idea of all cars being fitted with 'black box' or 'telematic' recorders. It should be optional. You have to pay for them when you buy the car. Then you have no choice as to the specific type or model fitted. Then they might become a problem if they fail... something else manufacturers expect you to pay exorbitant prices for. A whole can of worms that we can do without.
