Cameras should automatically fine drivers who go more than 10mph over the limit

Detached (certainly round here) can be 30 or 40 depending how vociferous the inhabitants are.

Depends which local or county councillors live within the proposed TRO.

Our road was completely resurfaced a few years ago. Apart from a few buses, only local domestic traffic.
We do wonder.
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.

I recall reading that in the 1930's the government of the day abolished every single speed limit in one go. The result? Both accidents and deaths.injuries declined. It isn't speed per se that kills and maims. It is inappropriate speed. So the failure of the IAM to recognise that training is the key to reducing both accidents and frustration inspired accidents is, for me, almost criminal.

This is just another example of the sort of silly click-bait nonsense that the IAM seems to believe raises their profile in the eyes of the general public.
It doesn’t. Joe Public doesn’t bother to read any of this guff. All it does is irritate the relatively small number of the membership that happens to be aware of it.
But, it does keep Neil occupied, which is good.

But what training. There's very little evidence of 'training' achieving what you suggest. Particularly 'advanced' skills.

Wonderfully to the point, John.

What use is the IAM if all it does is parrot government advice/propaganda.

There. Fixed that for you although I suspect BRAKE would actually prefer that drivers were automatically euthanised whenever they exceed 4mph.
What does the 'A' in IAM stand for again?
