Passed his ministry test 2 years ago.
I'll be interested to watch his forthcoming videos and any comparisons he makes between his many years in cars.

Yes, interesting too in that - presumably - he doesn't have an advanced / '1' ticket for motorcycles? Although he mentions Masters and "others", does he state what anywhere?

He has a Masters with Distinction.
As the supply of ex-police class 1's dries up, examiners are being drawn from riders with this and suitable background.

Ok, thanks. I didn't know that was the case. Is it that anyone with an 'M+' can apply to become an examiner?

They also need to have taken the National Observer test (i.e. have a current Masters and be an NO) to be able to apply for an examiners post.

Is that a progressive route, or is there any option via accreditation of prior learning to give direct access?

There's an IMI-validated examiners' qualification now, too. I took it alongside my quality assurance check last year.
