Odd at 8:37 it stayed in black & white. Moody.
Useful comments for cagers too - the slow left turn with the big puddle a good example of not rushing in. I get people who are so bent on not holding up the car behind that they jeopardise the turn.

Intentional. Moody man on the edit desk. :) I just set it to fade back from black and white to full colour just before the NSL signs.

It looks so much better on my PC. Because I am a low volume volume content creator (less than 1000 subscribers) YouTube deliberately limit the bitrate of my videos which results in the sometimes blocky output. The stills at the end are grabs from the original footage and as they are not moving you don't get the compression blocks displayed.

Here's my latest demo ride on YouTube. I was pleased to start with a new associate yesterday and at the first de-brief I queried his "I've not had any other training" reply at the start of the ride. Turns out he's keen and had found my videos, and had been learning from them. His future rides are going to be easier, checking implementation and understanding.

Do bikers have a problem being "seen" by the temporary traffic light sensor?

I've certainly bad problems with in-surface loops.
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.

I've not had a problem. The lights in this video were a 3 way set. 3 and 4 way sets are notoriously slow.

As Horse says induction loops can be a pain, but the temporary lights usually use a motion sensor that detects movement towards it.

New short video added to my YouTube channel. Is the picture quality better?

Just received this comment on YouTube. Exactly the type of comment you'd want to receive.

YouTube wrote:Really useful, thanks. It’s interesting to compare this with some of the dash cam compilations. By anticipating potential problems you can deal with them in a smooth and un-rushed way rather than all the last minute braking and horn blaring (usually as an admonishment rather than alerting the other driver to their presence) you see in many of those clips.

Another great comment on YouTube. :)
