Bit like speed limits? 60 along a single track, gravel-strewn, high-hedged, lane might be legal - but might not be a great idea

Looking at some pics from Google of double mini-roundabouts, a single dashed line is often used as a 'give way' between traffic in opposing directions.

Something a little different this time. The riding footage has been speeded up x3. Effectively giving riding speeds of 0 to 180mph, to display the smooth way that road position should blend and not jump or be jerky. The 'chipmunk' is the SatNag lady at hypersonic speed

I enjoyed this video, when there were none toward it reminded me of IOM TT footage, without the lean angles of course.

Thanks. I enjoy the production process. Some generate discussion here and elsewhere, others produce nothing.

Their main purpose though is for use with my IAM Associates (getting them to watch specific ones as homework between sessions) and I know quite a few other observers, tutors and groups use them too. You can get over a lot of points in their own time, at their own pace, rather than standing in a layby.

Using slip roads is an interesting one, with the one/two lane variants.

My personal preference is to be to the right, or rh lane, with the intention of joining the main carriageway ASAP - but the option of continuing parallel if necessary.

And fall-backs of either: using that space to accelerate or brake (firmly, and with planning for what's behind) or, on a D+HS motorway to use the hard shoulder.

On dual lane slips I too favour the right hand lane, though unlike the single lane one in the video these tend to be elevated or rising and approach at an angle. This gives a different perspective to these single parallel lanes.
