Things have moved on a bit due to the environment we ride in. Look at those empty streets and few hazards ahead. It was a different world.

Good job your punctuation is up to the job. A short-arm signal would probably earn you a fail.

I was going to say that the original system has only 6 features but I presume the 7th is the life-saver in MC Roadcraft?

Yes, this well back in bluebook days and, yes, 6 was the lifesaver.

TBH, I think if you learned Roadcraft in that regimented fashion, it was easier than the 'new' ways :)

IIRC that video was '79 [edit video title says 77] and Riding Plans was '81.
