IAM (Roadsmart) Skills day

Just spent £135 on a half day IAM skills day at Thruxton (open to members and non-members). Was not sure what to expect from a road safety organisation.
Absolutely brilliant, not having been on a race circuit before a real eye opener. Systematic throughout, really sorts out the system of car control at much elevated speeds.
Main problem for me was not breaking hard enough where speed was required to be reduced into the chicanes
The tuition was brilliant throughout.
Just to make it clear skills days are aimed at those that have never competed in any motorsport. However the amount of track time was great from 9.30 to 12.30 with two of us to one instructor, really good value.
