Terminally Embarrased
Re: Terminally Embarrased
I got issued with the magic CPAP machine to push air into me in the middle of the night. It's rather undignified but it seems to do the job, and I'm much brighter during the day (says Mrs T)

That's good - I imagine it's a bit of a pain but presumably you get used to it over time.

Re: Terminally Embarrased
AFTER I had tested a guy he confessed similar.
Went straight on OVER a roundabout. [Micro sleep]. Police attended NFA.
Diagnosed with Sleep Apnea too and had treatment and weight loss etc.
However worryingly he was FAST ASLEEP in the driver's seat in the car waiting for me at the test venue and I had to bash on the windows to wake him up.
Wish I had known???

It is not WHAT you drive, BUT:-- the WAY that you drive it.
It is not HOW fast you drive, BUT:-- HOW you drive fast.

Ooer Andy,
Anyway I'm recovering my equilibrium, and I am down a stone and working at it.

A friend of mine has the same problem, the air pump machine made a big difference but the first one he go kept his missus awake with the noise. He bought one from somewhere that is almost silent, so now both are happy people.
