For some reason the IAM Magazine is getting more and more like the Saga Magazine. There must be a reason. :soap:

The average age of the membership is probably increasing by one year every year.

Since life expectancy is limited, even for advanced drivers, I guess that also implies an overall drop in membership numbers, year on year?

More seriously, since joining IAM and telling friends and acquaintances all about it I’ve been surprised how little interest has been shown, especially among youngsters. Pretty sure my recollection from (say) 1980s was that when somebody subjected themselves to an advanced driving test, pass or fail, everybody wanted to hear about it.

Board games seem to be an ‘in thing’ for 20 and 30 somethings these days. How about an advanced driving board game?

Well that’s next Christmas sorted, for the younger folks on my gift list.
