I recall reading that in the 1930's the government of the day abolished every single speed limit in one go. The result? Both accidents and deaths.injuries declined.It isn't speed per se that kills and maims. It is inappropriate speed. So the failure of the IAM to recognise that training is the key to reducing both accidents and frustration inspired accidents is, for me, almost criminal.
