The shape of the roads suggest this might be just before or just after where the single carriageway passes under or over a dual-carriageway, probably at an oblique angle. Was the other car going well below NSL?

Yes, Gareth, that's the one. We were Southbound from Cherwell Services towards Weston on the Green.

Possibly 'Constant bearing, decreasing range (CBDR)' ie you were hidden behind the 'A' pillar'?

Potentially combined with the other driver being a f***wit for not slowing ;)
