But can the Isle of Man do their own thing?

Yes. They will have an equivalent i'm sure but the UK parliament generally doesn't legislate for the Isle of Mann.

The UK Parliament can't legislate for the Isle of Man, because the Isle of Man isn't in the UK. The Isle of Man Act 1978 does give the Crown powers to make Orders in Council that have force on the Isle of Man, but I'm not aware that any such order has been made putting the TSR&GD into effect there.
