You’re probably doing this already but when training associates I encourage them to consciously make themselves aware of their peripheral vision on the approach to corners.junctions etc. whilst still looking straight ahead.

You can get free trials of contact lenses, it's worth trying, they are great. If you don't get on with them at least you tried.

You do get excellent peripheral vision, all in focus. Without them I would struggle to ride my bike. I've had them for a year now. I have daily ones which you wear for a day and then throw away. Acuvue, is the brand and they are very soft and wet. Mine are not a straightforward prescription and I pay £50 per month and they send them through the post.
