Fancy buying a car?
Re: Fancy buying a car?
Not when you can get a modern diesel car that will burn it off and be more comfortable, not to mention more reliable. Waste of good scrap metal, IMO.

Financially I'd say ... Your pay scale is somewhat higher than I thought!

I had a 1% pay rise this year so I might spend that on them. I know it's says how much there worth but when I roll up there with the cash in my pocket, you can bet they'll do a deal!

Re: Fancy buying a car?
There's a debate to be had here.
It's about where form, a design considered worthy of praise , becomes more important than function, a car that is to be driven.
If indeed a car can be considered art or whether it's just to do with rarity and from a respected manufacturer and the cycle of where some think wealth is best invested for a good return.
Then, what is art?, many paintings continue to appreciate, why?

I suspect that good design in a beautiful form generally goes with a higher price... And a higher income.... The 'poor go to the wall' very often... My tastes usually exceed my pocket.
