Making progress is more than just 'firm acceleration'...I'd be surprised if you follow the 'Masternaut' guidelines you have any difference to your journey times.

A multi-drop vehicle not using harsh acceleration/braking etc; what exactly are you multi-dropping to break away from the norm so ;)

I worked for Mercedes commercial vehicles for a while and found the customer vehicles that had them fitted were a PITA - I had to do various road tests etc.. any vehicle that had them fitted made me feel like getting a hammer out! I also hate some driver aids in vehicles for FORS driving commercial vehicles in central London, such as the beepers announcing you are turning left - the first one I heard nearly made me jump out of my skin - perfect in a truck.
