The AA
OS Locate
Save a life (defib locations)
St John
Google maps
W3W

I got excited with the Save a Life one, but the locations need adding/updating! OK if you live in NE or southern parts.

Have you tried an update? There's also the option to show nearest / all.

Try GoodSam app?

I had a look at GoodSam - nice idea. Didn't fancy registering at the moment, so don't think I can see the AEDs.

Although I have the qualifications and insurance, our 'local' ambo (South Central) didn't have a tie-in the last time I checked.

Lots and lots of theories of how the current mobile law coupled with the new proposals should be dealt with, truth be known mobile phone use is here to stay no matter what legislation we introduce, fines-points-disqualification prison, people will still use them as they are a part of everyday life. As some says there is less Police to enforce the current and new legislation, everyday I issue tickets more and more not for mobile phone use,but not being in proper control of the vehicle,as more and more drivers are becoming more and more sneaky when using it, holding it below the door line making it harder and harder to detect. The new changes need to be introduced as there is such a big void when dealing with what once was simple voice calls now social media is a big factor in our lives, resulting in more KSI incidents which fall out of the current legislation as not all phone use is talking.

What's wrong with DWDCA? Because that sounds like the ideal catch-all rather than ever more bits of point legislation that will still lag technology.

Harder to identify in a believable fashion?

Easier to assert someone was holding a phone than to assert they weren't paying enough attention, because then you have to describe in what way they weren't paying enough attention and what resulted from not paying enough attention. If nothing resulted from 'not paying enough attention' then how can it be asserted believably that they weren't paying enough attention?

...if the Police offer a fixed penalty in lieu of prosecution there will rarely be the need to prove anything.

Plus, camera-based systems are becoming available, I believe.
