welcome, not sure who is up in your area, but lots around the country, so def. worth finding an IAM or RoSPA group locally, just drive as much as you can with people who can help you...

aha - I know Pete - yes he still has his Fiesta ST and some other cars and some other bikes...and very much involved in Bristol Advanced Motorists.
