Re: Mobile phones
I'd be interested to see a compare/contrast between proper knobs and stupid touchscreens with no tactile feedback. I replaced the head unit in the Saab with a Pioneer AppRadio4 because I wanted to use Apple CarPlay and it has turned out to be one of the worst decisions I have made. This NOT because...

Does anyone know what the insurance black boxes monitor, record and to what accuracy? Badly it would seem: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-37910773 Hopefully this will lead to their demise. Hateful things. Unfortunately, I fear not. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/insurance/car/insurers-to-bid-for-...

Re: 15000 miles later
Do you let the clutch in while you blip the throttle? If not, what does it achieve?

Re: Is AD 'better driving'?
Simply put, if it's safe, who gives a flying $@u€ as to whether it's sociable? The thing that you need to bear in mind there is that the person you have just overtaken is your last witness. If it all goes udders upwards a bit further down the road, even if it's not your fault, then their view of yo...
