Re: Censorship and derailment

Your use of the letters FFS, if I've understood your meaning correctly, would indicate a significant degree of frustration and irritation on your part. That is not sufficient reason for you to lock the thread. Your role is one of arbitration and ensuring that the forum rules are observed. It is not...

Re: Censorship and derailment

It would have seemed quite normal to me had the original offending post been moved to a new thread with a comment that that had been done because it represented excessive thread drift. I don't think that would have generated the sort of discomfort which simply deleting it without explanation has do...

Re: The EU - Leave or Remain?

Nah, after being called a special snowflake and having my opinion completely and utterly disrespected, I'm rather disillusioned with the whole AD community at the moment. It's not even the first time it's happened. I shall be refraining from visiting this forum, I know when I'm not wanted - and pro...

Re: Technology dumbing down?

something else I've noticed as a cyclist is blind spot warning lights in the wing mirrors of cars I'm overtaking... how long before drivers of these become reliant on that little red/amber light and stops doing shoulder checks? Then having problems in cars without them... Or when the bulbs fail

Re: BBC article on driver awareness courses

His opening lines of the article show his attitude to driving hasn't changed. He still sees driving through a red light as a minor offence. :( He does later say the road ahead of him was clear, but that it's an absolute offence. I have to say, given the increasing proliferation of traffic lights on...

BBC article on driver awareness courses

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-36594584 I didn't realise there was now a 3rd type of course for "suspected intentional offenders". Looking at those figures for the growth in numbers attending courses, it seems hard to argue it's anything but a cash cow for the operating companies, who presum...

Sounds like quite a few members attitudes towards the IAM at the moment given the other threads on here
