Re: Some news for you!

I'm impressed with your insurance quote. My daughter's last quote, as part of an Admiral multi-car policy, was £1000 for a 4year old Polo. That was just after she passed her test, still 17 but with one year's ncb

Re: Oh deer

He'll have come up through Rowhedge into a 60 at the top of the village before the crossroads, where it's still 60. The limit changes to 40 after about 100m. I'm surprised it's on a test route as it's not a nice junction to turn out of. It's likely to become a roundabout and/or the 40 will be extend...

Just like companies should be allowed to provide as much parking as needed unless councils can demonstrate an availability of either housing or suitable public transport locally. Fair enough. When w...

Re: Fuel Additives - When is it too much?

Edit: they may add additives at the station, I have my doubts, but additives shouldn't change your fuel economy. Those of us old enough, may remember "Formula Shell" (late 80s) - it did improve my economy by about 10%. Unfortuneately, it also buggered small Vauxhall (amongst others) engin...

Dave, the "spirited" drive probably did as much (or more) good than the additive
