I'd heard that a reasonable number have taken various forms of post-test driver training but that it isn't greatly mentioned as there's little appetite amongst the reading public.

Re: Highway Code Review for cyclists, pedestrians and horse riders

Do motorists like to share the road with those on foot when there is a footpath alongside? Is it reasonable to expect mo...

the dedicated nav unit will always have a place because you always have the complete map, regardless of data availability. I've been using OsmAnd on Android for precisely this reason. Seems to work reasonably well for ad hoc routing requirements. The biggest benefit to me of a standalone satnav is ...

Re: Motorcycle videos

Do (modern) motorcycles have indicators? Did the rider think car drivers always go around mini-roundabouts? Does the rider normally drive?

Re: Declining Standards

A couple of days ago a motorcyclist rode at sauntering speed out of a garage forecourt into my path at 50 mph. I'd seen the rider and, given the slow approach to the exit, had honestly expected them to stop. Cue quite firm braking, holding main beam and horn, moving to very firm braking as the rider...

'Site still not really buzzing with contributions from new members. 17 joined this year, 19 in the last 12 months. The forum probably isn't mentioned much elsewhere, so it's word of mouth or random searches. It's been awkward to arrange driving days, but they've tended to encourage participation. I...
