Re: Cornering...
Well, this thread has shown me just how complex steering is! My method has always been to: Step 1: Gauge severity of corner, and slow down to an appropriate speed. And how are you managing the first part of that? I'm not sure if I'm doing the limit point thing, but all I know is I simply drive at a...

My method has always been to:
Step 1: Gauge severity of corner, and slow down to an appropriate speed.
Step 2: Turn the steering wheel in such a manner that I remain on the tarmac.
Step 3: Continue driving.

Re: Spam
It needs an english language maths question on signup. Somthing like: "What is six times seven? Answer in digits." That stopped bot signups completely on the phpBB installation that I ran. Or alternatively "What is the answer to life, the universe and everything?" Push-pull stee...

Re: Americans confused by safety technology?
Are Americans ever not confused by something? They're confused by the concept of love in relation to marriage, they're confused by the concept of gun control, they're confused by the concept of public-funded healthcare. They're basically confused by everything that theoretically makes a country a go...

Re: So do you know the Highway Code?

Re: Double White Line Meaning?
Well, that's the wonderful thing about this country, provided my insurance is all well and good, and I'm not caught speeding twice in the next two years, I will never need to test my knowledge of the Highway Code ever again.
