I'm confused - the report says 1 fatality whereas I thought I'd read 9 fatalities already reported but I can't remember where...dammit. Some people around Bristol ride them responsibly but many don't with 2 people on the same e-scooter, or on pavements (which is illegal) and others ignore red traffi...

Biggest single thing for me was following distance...I was never a close tailgater but since AD in 2001, I've kept a much large gap in front and more recently even larger unless I'm thinking about an overtake. It's better for all the reasons people here know so I won't repeat them.

I've just had a call from Rebecca Ashton @ IAM RoadSmart and she has taken the page down...and apologised. Apparently they missed the 'killed or injured' bit.
