Re: The most difficult aspect of Advanced Driving
I'd say a fairly high percentage of members here have sought professional coaching or seek to do so. These same was probably true at ADUK. I don't see that it matters whether you have been professionally (or otherwise) coached or not to contribute here. Aye, it's a good job too, otherwise I'd be ge...

Re: Best driving roads - based on Maths
And there was me thinking the M1 was going to feature. I've not had chance to read it all yet but does the formula take into account speed cameras, Police presence and the liklihood of having your licence relieved from you? Because I assume these great driving roads are not meant to be savoured at 6...

Re: The most difficult aspect of Advanced Driving
2 things really. One being that old chestnut of BGOL. After mastering not doing it I'm now very happy to do it when I feel like it, I don't feel the need to shout out "it was part of my plan" either. I think it's a skill which people can use if they wish but I don't really think it's anyth...

Re: The most difficult aspect of Advanced Driving
I have certainly had better drivers (of whom there are many!) drive me in a way I wouldn't have driven, but I trust that they can spot issues / plan / etc. better than I can. Alasdair Who says they are better? I've been with a couple of drivers who are supposedly brilliant drivers, well I didn't th...

Re: Hi
I'll do my best. I'm currently in Crete so my internet is patchy to say the least. BRAKE members would have a heart attack here, though strangely there aren't piles of bodies at the side of the road.
