Re: Blimey it's quiet...

I have not gone for winter tyres - the days that I see where temperature is much lower are few - I work from home and rarely go out early in the day... the M5 has been fine through three winters on PS4 tyres - I just drive more sensibly! I did though make the decision that while it was an un-necessa...

Re: Insurance during lockdown

I think this has been pretty thoroughly debunked by a lawyer on pistonheads... The reality is that there is no legal definition of essential / non-essential - so it would be very difficult for any insurance company to make it stick in court - equally, it would be a change in their terms and conditio...

Re: Declining Standards

I upgraded the M5 18 months ago to a new head unit, which I use with Apple Car Play - I can run TomTom apps / Google Maps / Waze (based on Google Maps) / Apple Maps - all of which will give me a sat nav function - and that is on a 17 year old car... Re: Touch Screens

I have long thought it amusing that in my sister's T8 XC90 (tank that does 0-0 rather fast!): - you can't (as passenger) pull up the car's manual on the touch screen in case you are driving - you can though use the touch screen to alter steering sensitivity / suspension settings / etc. - all without...

Re: Reg Local and speed...

In an earlier post on this topic I asked 2 questions, one of which was the same question but asked in a different way to the original poster, and all the responses since then have been measured and respectful giving individual’s views on the questions posed. However, on my settings I had ticked “al...

There is quite a substantial drop in trauma ops in hospitals - my wife is a hand surgeon who often deals with bikers - numbers are currently reduced
