I have Stop/Start on both my Focii, I leave it switched on and it's not caused any reliability problems and one has 75000m so far - except I reckon the battery needs replacing in on...

Re: Importance of surprise horizon

Sabine Schmitz - RIP

I expect most know she sadly passed away a few days ago from cancer: aged just 51. An amazing driver and the only women to win the Nurburgring 24 hour...and came across well on TV as well. You may not know there is a petition to name one of the Nurburgring corners after her: http://chng.it/8bHrMtvsqy

Re: Practice routes

Interesting thread. Personally in 'normal' times I drive some regular routes I use with Associates for fun but sometimes I find it difficult to maintain a good AD level with roads I know well. ...making a note of how far I go before I realise I'm displaying signs of tiredness... What signs for you? ...

Old BBC transport film

So being bored I've been looking at some old transport films on youtube and came across this:

Re: What gear is best?

Did he explain how he reconciled his advice with the 'ecosafe driving' which ADI's are required to teach?...We discussed the obligation on ADI's to teach economical driving. I'm an ADI and when you say 'required' and 'obligation' to teach economical driving I believe you are over emphasising it...i...
