Re: Insurance during lockdown

If this silly story was true, anyone who parks on the street would have to remove their vehicle to an off-street parking place before lockdown started. Insurance doesn’t only provide cover while the vehicle is being driven

Re: Oh dear oh dear ....

I don’t suppose we should take a space filler article in the Daily Fail too seriously, but I think some of those steering techniques would leave the driver open to being charged with not being in proper control of the vehicle.

Re: Declining Standards

I do think the curse of “late indicating” is becoming endemic. My desire to plan is being frustrated by having to wait until others can be bothered to use their indicators. Sometimes I am just having my suspicions confirmed but at other times the signal is a revelation.

Re: Touch Screens

One of my lockdown projects was to add intermittent wiping to the tailgate wiper on my Yaris. I now have one of the programmable relays, similar to the one used by VAG. Much better than continuous wiping as the window rarely remains wet enough to support that.

Re: Reg Local and speed...

I agree that he has to be very careful about how he gets his message across; in general terms I agree with what he has to say.
