Re: The Mind Boggles ...

But, electric, thus must be ok as far as our leglislators are concerned. However, if they were ice powered there'd be immediate action.

Re: Has IAM Roadsmart given up on advanced training?

Whilst I sometimes find Horse's posts to be a bit too "academic" I do fully agree with his signature. I try to always drive as if on test, which sometimes leads to discussion with my wife, also IAM, when she tells me I'm driving too slowly or too fast. To expand, too slowly, in her view, i...

Re: IAM Roadsmart’s car crash on social media

It's now an organisation only interested in its own survival and, therefore, will align itself with what it sees as the current politically correct stance. Sorry, couldn't resist, presumably this would be the fastest from 30mph to 70mph, to keep it legal.
So, electric?

Just, as with so many things these days, dumbing down. No wonder we're on a path to irrelevance in this world.

Re: New DVSA advice site

Long time since I was a motorcyclist but I'm sure there was never a "clutch pedal" on any 'bikes I had. No me neither but...amazingly... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_clutch I did wonder if I should include a link. :) I then did wonder whether I should go to car advice and see if ...

Begs the question as to whether commentary should be part of the basic driving and riding tests.
