You can get free trials of contact lenses, it's worth trying, they are great. If you don't get on with them at least you tried.

For those who've never ridden a bike, you get a much better view over cars so you don't necessarily get a better view offside so I would avoid this move as I don't have to overtake, I would rather get there without taking too much risk. What I actually mean was that I would only ever cross to the other side of the road if I could already see it was safe to do so from a position behind the car I am following. I will discuss this with John C next time I see him.

Safety first. I think it's better to be in front of someone driving badly otherwise drop back in case they crash and have plenty of time to respond. I never move out and assess, I only move out to overtake when I'm sure, it's less stressful and in my view safer.

Don't see a problem you dealt with the situation without causing an accident and anyway this is why you have insurance.
