Re: Useless Observation Links
That would be almost exactly wrong round here. All the handles are pointing the same way (or at least the bins are reasonably neat) when the residents have first put the bins out. Re: It’s chilling that people drive at 81 mph on the motorway – says IAM Roadsmart
The IAM RoadSmart Affiliate Group Handbook states, on page 18, pretty much the same as what hir wrote, i.e.: Winding-up If the group committee by a simple majority decides at any time on any grounds it is necessary or advisable to disband or wind up the group, the Secretary shall convene an EGM as s...

He has a Masters with Distinction. As the supply of ex-police class 1's dries up, examiners are being drawn from riders with this and suitable background. Ok, thanks. I didn't know that was the case. Is it that anyone with an 'M+' can apply to become an examiner? They also need to have taken the Na...

Re: RoSPA Trainer & Assessor Courses for motorcycle trainer
I don't think he can do the RoSPA Diploma unless he has already taken the RoSPA test and achieved a Gold or Silver pass. https://www.roadar.org.uk/riders/diploma.htm Looking at the website for the International Course it doesn't look like you have to have taken the RoSPA test. http://www.rospa.com/s...

Re: How to become an IAM Motorcycle Examiner?
When I last spoke to our regional examiner (or Area Service Delivery Manager as they are now called) I was told you needed to be a National Observer and have passed the IAM Masters Test. At the time there was speculation that you had to have a Masters Distinction, but I was told that this was not th...

Re: What was your first car?
The very first car I had was given to me by my Dad in 1973 for me to learn in, a 1960s Ford Popular 100E. Something like this: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/uploads/cars/ford/5069704.jpg It was originally black. My Dad had a car spraying business, he'd bought the car to convert into a pickup, but t...

Re: Nespresso Machine
I've been using Nespresso for years. Excellent coffee, always buy their pods as there is a good choice for all tastes. Pods are available elsewhere as mentioned, I think Lidl also sell compatible pods, but have heard varied reports on quality compared to Nespresso. If you are near a John Lewis's or ...
