Well here's a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
Harlow Motorcycle Injunction
We already have laws banning all these things ... just nobody to enforce them.
So what is the point of another piece of paper that could make criminals of many riders innocently riding in Harlow?

...non-amber lenses for indicators indicators should be consigned to the scrap heap! What's the problem? You can't see them on a bright day as the the sun reflects off the internal reflector. Also they can look illuminated when they are not, again by stray light being reflected. To make maters wors...

Re: VCDS...
Another lighting gimmick that should be banned! Annoying flashes of lights coming on/off as cars negotiate RABs.
These along with non-amber lenses for indicators indicators should be consigned to the scrap heap!

Re: All change
My wife's new Yaris has controls that are so light it makes it difficult to drive smoothly. There's a little feeling in the steering but the clutch pedal is so light it is hard to feel you are doing anything with it, and the brake pedal is complete madness. I've nearly re-acclimatised myself and sto...

Just as my wife's new Yaris is full of infotainment cr*p we never use and have no choice but to have.
As soon as you pick a slightly better trim model all that junk is foisted on you. Having said that, most of he safety stuff is becoming standard. Even motorbikes now have compulsory ABS.

Re: Citigo - 300 miles later.
Yet another UK car where the speedo doesn't have a 30mph figure ... just a mark half way between 20 and 40. My wife's Yaris is just the same. Coupled with Red on Black design it is almost illegible for someone who's colour blind, like me (red/black colour blindness is very common).

Re: One of the dozen
Interesting article in The Guardian about "presumed liability". Personally I can't see it ever working over here as, as has been alluded to earlier in this topic, there are two many cyclists "with an axe to grind". We've all experienced them. Deliberately riding two abreast, extr...
