There speaks a man who's never had Sabine as his waitress...

As for Eddie, just like Terry Wogan, there must be a wigless photograph out there somewhere. Perhaps its publishing will make him disappear under a rock.

Wasn't it Tiff who shunted Nigel Mansell off during a BTCC race?

Hardly the amateur that Evans suggested the video recruitment process was supposed to produce. Still so long as he leaves his shotguns at home.....

The amateur is the guy on the left hand end, Rory Reid. Not Harris.

And he is a professional broadcaster.

Indeed, but he's the one Angus is referring to.

From what I remember, NM blamed him for it. But my recollection is that it didn't look it . . .
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.

I thought Chris Harris was the one selected from the video audition, but either way, neither he or Rory Reid are amateurs.

Meet your new Top Gear presenters

Personally, if the theme is, as implied by what Matt LeBlanc said the other day "I'm looking forward to smashing things up on TV" (paraphrasing), I'm going to be giving it a miss.

Typical lefty BBC. They've pandered to the equality and diversity brigade by employing a token ginger. I'd rather have someone who's made it on merit.

  I wait and see and reserve judgement. I also wait for the trapped nerve in the shoulder to get sorted so I can come out for a Driving Day. I'm missing the fun

Evans' target audience is thick people under 40. As I don't fit into at least one of those categories, I'll be giving it a miss.
