yes, they can be very surprised when you keep up with them - however, I will often let them past if I feel that a) they are dangerous (would prefer them to have an accident elsewhere!), or riding well, but fast, in which case it helps them... the tedious ones are those who overtake badly, but then don't make progress...

Either use the book as a guide, or a list of exclusion zones :)
Your 'standard' is how you drive alone, not how you drive during a test.

This site has it sorted. I'm not sure we can catch up with their guide just yet!

I've got no problem letting them past if they catch me up - I just wish they'd bloody reciprocate when the boot is on the other foot :P

Remember that group of riders of vintage machines we had to follow for about 15 miles through the Elan valley some years ago ...

It is definitely / absolutely / 100% against forum rules to post photos like that when others are sitting behind a desk :D

I found out about the B3306 from St. Ives to St. Just on

http://www.drivingforpleasure.co.uk/roads-and-tours/uk-roads.php
.
Which includes some well known classics such as Snake Pass and the Cat and Fiddle.

I drove the B3306 in both directions a week apart; great bit of road.
