If the cat had been going in the opposite direction Percy Shaw may well have invented the rotary pencil sharpener.

I'd prefer to have centre lines and cat's eyes suitably maintained and renewed as required.

I thought I read somewhere that the American ones were an inferior design without the spring loaded bit and hence were harsher when you drove over them and had to be replaced more often due to damage
