Apparently if he pi55ed enough people off doing that and they reported him he could be done for inconsiderate driving or something similar, I can't quite remember at the moment the exact offence. A similar situation would be going to the front of the Q in the right hand lane with an arrow indicating it as a right turn only and going straight on to gain an advantage

Also I'm my humble opinion he sounds very self important

A common occurance here.

Drivers on the A348 Northbound commonly go 450 degrees. Some even go 540 degrees to avoid queueing.

Nigel.

If the reason for the queue is only traffic on Ringwood Rd. then I see no problem in doing 450 to turn left. 540 would be OK if the queue was in Magna Rd - (all the way round to avoid contravening the right turn arrow). It would not be very 'advanced' however to use this technique to end up further ahead in the same queue (as seems to be the case in the video), as it would be likely to provoke road rage.

Are any laws being broken in either case though? I don't think so.

What about the sign in the video's embedded image? Left lane left turn only, right lane straight ahead and right turn.

For me I've always gone by the "It's only paint" with regard to lane markings, but signs make them explicit use.

AIUI, the arrows are advisory only. If, however, the arrow is accompanied by the words "Turn Right" and a blue circular sign with the same instruction then it is mandatory.

I am sure that someone will correct me if I am wrong.

If you turn right onto the roundabout then you are turning right. There is nothing wrong with a complete circuit of the roundabout?

Agreed, the paint is advisory. The video shows Direction/Route signs only; they are not "giving orders", so there is no need to comply with them - you may not wish to go to any of those destinations!

Look at the pic in the first post. The sign I'm referring to is on the right, not the direction signs with destinations.
