Thanks to everyone for all their help and support since I've joined. i've made five posts I think and had 150 replies!

I will continue to read and support the forum - I've found it really useful

It'd be really good if all those undertaking AD, whether IAM or RoSPA, were to post here.

Yes it seems a relatively small forum?

There was a section for associates on the old IAM forum for people working towards their test but I don't think it had very much traffic.
It certainly wasn't mentioned to me by my observer, but not sure that's because he wasn't aware of its existence or he didn't see a benefit in it - Why would I need to seek out answers on the internet when he can tell me everything I need to know?

I think that this forum has a fairly unique place in the AD world - on the one hand having people with a diverse range of experience (from pre-AD to seriously good very advanced drivers), yet all sharing a passion for the topic... I suspect that many who take IAM / RoSPA do so because their interest is in the award / satisfaction / milestone - not because they have an underlying passion for all things AD... So it will always by necessity be a smaller set of people... but it is quality not quantity that is important :)
