Good luck with the test - whenever and wherever it happens!

Is there a reason you wrote "place" instead of "Police" in the thread title?

Yeah, I have a police background - I've been pulled over by lots of them
(for the record, I've only been pulled over a couple of times when I thought it was cool to run a mis-spaced numberplate....)

I love the fact that you got pulled 'a couple of times', thus ignoring the first pull! That made me laugh out loud !

Jason is a bit of a queer mixture - drives a completely bonkers chav-mobile (when it's not broken) but has a RoSPA Gold to go with it

Many years ago I had, among other things, a Simca 1100 that found new ways of letting me down every week, and a very aged yellow Saab 96 with a two-stroke engine and unique lace-like bodywork that left trails of little flakes of rust wherever I drove - and yes, a RoSPA gold to complete the package! However, the cars signified not so much endearing eccentricity as poverty and gullibility!

No, it was a typo that I've now corrected

I was young and clueless. Much wiser now. It wasn't until I was pulled and ACTUALLY fined that I put a normal plate on
And thanks Nick A very succinct description of myself and my motor
