I passed my advanced test today.

Postby Mini Spirit » Sat Jan 23, 2016 1:34 pm

Hi guys I passed & got a f1rst this morning with the IAM.

Here are my examiners remarks: an excellent systematic drive of the highest order. It demonstrated an excellent understanding of the principles of advanced driving. A bit more polish will take the drive even higher. Well done!

I asked has he had told me that he was a examiner for ROSPA, what grade I would of got & he said a Gold. so I'm very happy.

Well done indeed, that's a real achievement. Make sure you treat this as the start of your AD journey and not the end. :)

My original Rospa Class1 diploma for instructing is dated 1981 (I'd include a photo if I knew how to do it) and I'm still learning every time I drive!
Try to learn a little every day; perhaps concentrate on one particular thing from time to time.
Most important is not to be too tough on yourself.
Congratulations

Congratulations - great result.

You might want to let your new skills settle in before you consider Masters - it's very demanding but a great thing to aim for.

Well done again.

It is indeed an achievement and you should never forget that. It's just a shame there are some on here who are too quick to denigrate what they consider to be beneath them. I would advise that you don't take too much notice of the naysayers and keep on practicing what you have learned so far. The traditional AD organisations may not be perfect, but they're probably the best we have.
