Reg Local at Bristol IAM, 30 September 2017

Former police instructor and current YouTube driving expert Reg Local will be giving a talk to Bristol IAM in Keynsham (Thats K_E_Y_N_S_H_A_M) on Saturday 30 September.
We're hoping that Reg's profile will attract people who wouldn't usually attend an IAM event, and will be offering driving assessments and demo drives after his talk.
Keynsham is half way between Bristol and Bath, and full event details are on the Bristol IAM website

I'd love to attend this but am unfortunately on holiday (and for his visit to Thames Valley the weekend before)

Reg had to cancel his appearance at Thames Valley this evening for personal reasons. I don’t know if this will have any effect on Saturday’s planned event.

Reg’s reputation clearly precedes him: a larger than usual audience (extra chairs had to be deployed) enjoyed a hastily compiled presentation on overtaking techniques left over from the proscribed overtaking course TVGAM used to run. We are promised a rescheduled Reg next year.

Looking forward to it. I'd had some correspondance with him previously and enjoyed his talk in Worcester earlier in the year. Nice chap.
