Look what I had to play with this morning.
It's a Zero motorcycles SR model all electric bike.
Compare this with the Kawasaki H2 SX I had out the other week.
The H2 had 197 bhp, this has 69, BUT the H2 had 101 lb ft @ 9,500rpm, whereas this has 108 from the moment you move the throttle (and feels like a bicycle in weight). The fact it has no traction control, is complete madness!
I only had a 15 minute bimble, so can't give a decent review. It was though incredibly smooth, while requiring good throttle control for the transition from shut throttle on approach to a corner and opening the the throttle to drive through and then accelerate away.
Boy does it accelerate!
Look what I had to play with today. Charge away! ;)

Wow, this is the thing that could get me back onto two wheels. I assume its weight is peanuts but its price will be truly alarming. But what a bit of technology!

The half battery model felt like a bicycle! The full battery model is similar to a 600 naked bike.
