Three stage braking is still the order of the day but stage 2 is going to require close to maximum pressure on the pedal and a firm grip on the steering in case there is loose material, particularly under the left hand wheels which may cause the vehicle to attempt to deviate from the desired course.

The key thing is knowing this to be the case before you find yourself heading into a tightening slip road carrying more speed than you can handle.

They've put cameras and high grip surfaces on that junction so obviously aren't happy with the arrangement. I've no idea why a lower limit hasn't been introduced leading up to the lights. It does seem a bit daft to me.

Cool aeroplane.

I can't see that at all - the blue tents on the airfield are stages for the WildLife festival which was held, for the last few years. It has been cancelled this year but a stipulation of the rules was that the airfield be kept open.

Very odd. The original link does take me to the proper location now, but honestly it didn't yesterday! I zoomed out looking for Lancing College and saw the 'plane. Weird.

If someone can point out the "4 engined plane" in this one I'll be very grateful

Plane posted by crr003 - some 25 km away:

Plane just visible below left end of measurement line.

Now can I have some of the drugs you guys are on?

Interesting camera - appears to record one colour at a time.

Most likely chromatic aberration suggested here (since the image is taken by a lens of high resolution, but situated a long way away...)

As per the correction in the referenced link ... which seems much more likely to me since there are clear edges in each of the colours. Although I wonder if the correction is slightly wrong in the detail since it appears to be 4 images rather than 3.

I'm glad that the "cool plane" reference was a genuine error and not an accidental bad joke.

I'm having the computer fumigated.

Now that's what I saw originally complete with Virgin plane, can someone explain the order of events which had some of us seeing a plane originally and then not later?

I'm guessing Fungus originally edited his post before anyone had replied. :?:

Some saw what was there first. Some saw the edit.

Then a link was posted to go directly to the plane ... er, and then confusion reigned.

(I confess I do regularly correct my posts, yes really! :) , up to the point someone replies. During that that time different people may be served different versions depending on the time they view. Really must use the Preview button more. )
