My word. I'd hate to see a foreign train on my side of the tracks, especially if it's overtaking...

Full speed ahead and ram it?

So, this year's May holiday in Spain was based in Denia. Again, absolutely perfect roads, whichever category. Denia, a seaside tourist resort, was immaculate.
I had thought Spain was a basket case, you know, youth unemployment at about 40%, with some coming to the UK for work.
How does this work?

For the best driving roads it really is northern Spain you need. The places the Spanish go on holiday.
The likes of Asturias, Basque Country and along to Galicia - really good roads with lovely bends.
Or, at least that's what my little MX5 tells me :)
This is a good website for anyone interested in driving in that country. It also has a Facebook page.
