Autonomous vehicles again.

This time a 44t lorry.
My neighbours son has just had his lorry replaced with a new 44 tonner. It is fitted with autonomous braking which braked him on the motorway as he approached a motorway bridge due to the shaddow being cast by the bridge.
It's probably been noted by many that I have an ingrained dislike of this sort of technology. The brakes should only be applied if the driver fails to react and there is a danger of a collision, not be so sensitive that it activates because of a shaddow.
Nigel.
