I am pleased to note that IAM are now concerned about the price of cheese sandwiches.

Shhhh... I'm not sure you should be mentioning "The latest news exclusively for IAM RoadSmart members" on a public forum.
What incentive do people have to sign up if they can find out about the price of cheese sandwiches without paying their subs.

What is the received wisdom about cheese sandwich / gear overlap? At times I am glad I drive auto these days.
