The stuff I have isn't really something you can put in a sample. Much like Nick above says Ombrello is essentially the same thing, and looks the same too. It's just a small caplet containing about 10 / 15ml of the agent which is spread over the glass in one go via the pad on the caplet.

Been applying RainX for a few years - to all windows and external mirrors. Works a treat.

However, as I was about to buy some screen-wash concentrate - I think I'll try this Prestone stuff - killing two birds with one stone; though will still use RainX on the side & rear windows

Always tempted, but never sure if it is safe to apply such products to the (plastic) lights - to keep them clear too?

IIRC RainX is petrol-based, but there is a 'plastic' version available.

The solvent smells more like alcohol to me - ispopropanol, perhaps?
