Now unless they're lying (which is well within the bounds of possibility given the US Secret Service are involved), the Henry Ford museum seem pretty convinced they've got it.

Of course theirs could be a replica, too.

Two cars used by BSM for their High Performance Course dating back to late 1970's and early 1980s as far as I can remember. The pictures were taken at Oulton Park Circuit. One was a TR8 and the other a TR7 but for the life of me I can't recall which was which and hope someone here will remember and let me know.

Driving these brightly coloured cars on the public roads sure got you noticed. :lol:

Thanks, I thought the years were about right but I can't remember which was the TR7 and which the TR8.

EKV 397T is the TR8.
I used the MOT history 'site, https://mot-history.net/ I'll let you try the other reg.

Many thanks, I thought that might be the TR8 as I seem to remember that it was said the 8 was the one with the aerial,

I found myself on this this gem during my lunchtime jolly today. I admit you can't see much of the road in the picture, but it is lovely, though quite short.

Play time in France and UK. 4.3 litre V8 270BHP loads of torque from approx 1700rpm. 80cm axle articulation.
