Mr Samuelsson will clearly state Volvo’s position on both of these contentious issues.
He will say Volvo will accept full liability whenever one if its cars is in autonomous mode, making it one of the first car makers in the world to make such a promise.
He will add that Volvo regards the hacking of a car as a criminal offense.

so, if you are driving your autonomous car, or make a choice - how does liability then become shared...? or will you have no ability to make choices? If Volvo is prepared to take liability they must surely manage that through keeping control of what the car does - it raises a lot of interesting questions...

Did you really want to drive them? really?

If one of their cars is hacked and then does something bad, they would still have to prove that the car was hacked in the first place. Say, the car is used to drive into an explosives factory, which then explodes. If they can't salvage enough data from the wreck, it's their fault.
The only solution for them will be to have cars that they 'control' at all times. Forget any idea of privacy.
