New 5 series

Interesting article in autocar on the new 5 series, which has the option of an autonomous driving function...
- BMW claim liability remains with the driver (Volvo take full liability)
- the car will talk to other BMWs...
-- so if you put on the foglights it will warn local BMWs (I am sure that they will be delighted to be warned in bright summer sunshine!
)
-- so it won't warn other drivers - bad luck, you have to own a BMW to be warned, everyone else can die
