Police hide speed cameras in tractors
Humberside Police admits putting speed cameras in tractors and other stationary vehicles in order to catch persistent offenders who travel in excess of 100mph on rural roads

Seems to be contrary to the advice that cameras should be clearly visible...
apparently there was a police officer and camera in a tree near here yesterday - but he had parked his car at the foot of the tree which gave a rather big clue!

I'd have thought a tractor cab would be a bit of a wobbly place to give an accurate enough measurement.
That drivers are being stopped further down the road and 'spoken to' would seem to indicate this.
If the driver admits it then presumably they can be 'dealt with' further down the road as well.

I wonder if they are correctly road fund licensed to do this?

Don't Agricultural vehicles have specific exemptions? These are not agricultural pursuits
