Nutty Skoda driver coming over

Postby devonutopia » Fri Oct 09, 2015 7:45 pm

Just realised I have been very rude and started posting without any intro...

I'm that nutty silver diesel Fabia driver. Smoking like a train, and just found out why - Turbo pooped so off being rebuilt.

Been on a number of AD-UK driving days around the South West (I am Devon based) and I hope to attend more in whatever form they continue 8-)

Finally also passed my RoSPA test a few weeks ago. GOLD which I was chuffed with :D

Now thinking about looking at HPC long term, maybe when I have a working "HP"

As for the Fabia, it's just had a big valve head built, with lairy cam and porting, big injectors etc. When my 3 litre hybrid turbo is back it should be 340-350 odd BHP. Not bad for an old skool 1.9 smoker is it?

Here she is

No - just rebuilding and trying to go for big power without 2.8 bar of boost :D My tuner thinks with the engine work done, we can get good figures at 2.5 bar,

350bhp through the front wheels on that should be interesting to say the least. Can you get an LSD for those? I'd suggest it may help move forwards rather than sideways :)

Already has an LSD and grip is surprisingly good... in the dry. 3rd gear hooks up really nice. It's been timed 30-70 in under 4 seconds :D

Nice. My ex had ones of those when I had the Octavia. Can certainly surprise some fast cars with one of those.
